The 12th annual tour of St Louis Water Gardening Society members’ ponds and gardens,
Pond-O-Rama, will be held on June 23-24, 2012 from 9 AM to 5 PM. One of the season’s best garden tours feature 43 fantastic gardens and ponds of our SLWGS members who graciously open their areas to the public for two days.

These premiere private water gardens, range from small pools to large, elaborate installations featuring multiple waterfalls, tumbling streams, exotic fish, and mature aquatic plants. All the water features are surrounded by a variety of landscape gardens with perennials and annuals in full bloom. Half of the host sites will be available on Saturday, and half on Sunday.

Tickets for the two day tour are $15 per person 18 years of age and older; children under age 18 are free. This is a self-guided driving tour. The ticket booklets include maps and driving directions and will be available May 25.

The proceeds for our annual Pond-O-Rama help the St Louis Water Gardening Society continue its civic project – planting and maintaining the reflecting pools in front of the Jewel Box in Forest Park. Our members work beginning early spring to late fall each week to ensure the gorgeous day and night blooming water lilies, lotus, umbrella palms, papyrus and water canna look their best throughout the season.
